Customer Personality Types come in 4 main classifications. If you want your business to succeed, you should know these personalities very well.

People vary. They do not think alike, they do not have the same background; they have different emotional and intellectual levels. This is one important thing that businessmen need to know. They should know (and is actually a must) what kind of person are they and classify them.

There are four main customer personality types: analytical, driver, amiable, and expressive. Knowing the characteristics of your online business’s target market based on customer personality types is very helpful in deciding how to market products to them.

The analytical kind of people is known for being systematic, well-organized and deliberate. They people appreciate facts and information presented in a logical manner and as a documentation of what is real.

They enjoy the organization and completion of detailed tasks. Others may see them at certain times as being too cautious, overly structured, and someone who does things too much by what is written on the book.  They are also diplomatic and conventional.

To woo them, give them solid statics regarding their needs, then promote your online product by showing them how you answer to the facts that the data show. Also, appeal to them by using professional-looking experts and workers.

The drivers thrive on the thrills of the challenge. People who belong to this customer personality type follow their internal motivation to succeed. They are practical folks who are driven on getting results.

They are decisive, direct, pragmatic, problem-solver, risk-taker, forceful, competitive, independent, and determined.

Use a problem-solution format in promoting any product or service to them. Do not bother with artistry or frills. They will listen to forceful people who seem to know their own mind, who are firm and very assertive.

Dependable, loyal and easygoing—these are some of the qualities of amiable customers. They like things that are non-threatening and friendly. They hate dealing with impersonal details and cold hard facts. They are usually quick to reach a decision.

The most appealing kind of marketing materials to them are those that show warmth. They appreciate the value of relationships. Mother figures and children speak very well to them.

Customer personality type 4: Expressive.

The expressive types of people are known to be very outgoing and enthusiastic. They generate great ideas, however, usually do not possess the ability to see the idea through to completion. They enjoy helping others and are particularly fond of socializing.

They want high drama, fast action, insanely funny promotional materials. To convince them to buy into a product or service, they must be shown something unique, shocking and high-energy. They will listen to people who seem to be like a friend, who seem fun and as enthusiastic as him.
